Warehouse Picker/Packer at Purdy & Figg Jobs

Pay: £11 an hour

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Shift and Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparing customer orders and packing them
• Properly labelling parcels
• Loading customer orders onto pallets
• Troubleshooting any issues that may arise
• Ensuring that products meet quality requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 10kg
• Ability to push utility carts weighing up to 30kg
• Working at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhering to strict safety, quality, and fulfilment production standards

Work Environment:

• You’ll be working around moving machines, such as order pickers and stand-up forklifts.
• Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.

Dress Code: Relaxed, with a few safety rules. Closed-toe shoes are required.

Schedule Options: 35 hours a week

Key Details:

• Shifts are available from Monday to Friday
• Two shift options: 16:00 – 00:00 or 07:00 – 15:00
• You must be able to reliably arrive at work by 15:45
